Joshua Sutherland is a former graduate of Monache High School. He received his Bachelor's of Music with an emphasis in Choral Education from California State University Long Beach. 

Joshua taught at Bancroft Middle School in Long Beach Unified for three years before moving to the Porterville Unified School District.
