I grew up in Porterville.  My family has lived in the area since 1905.  I am a graduate from Cal Poly in political science.  I spent 5 years active duty in the Army as a Counterintelligence Special Agent and 3 years in the national guard while teaching.  I have been teaching 14 years and coaching track and cross country the last 8 years.
