English 1P Comp (Period 1)

This course offers an integrated study in reading, writing, listening and speaking using the Common Core Standards.  The following aspects of language arts will be emphasized: the writing process, literary analysis, literary terminology, and research skills.  This class will help students to become effective communicators, and it will prepare them for success in college and in their careers.
